The Hunger Games is a 2012 American science fiction adventure film directed by Gary Ross, based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins.
The film was produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik, with a screenplay by Ross, Collins, and Billy Ray. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland and Willow Shields, and features Lenny Kravitz and Stanley Tucci.
The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in the nation of Panem, where certain boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 must take part in the Hunger Games, a television annual event in which the "tributes" are required to fight to the death until there is one remaining victor. Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) volunteers to take her younger sister's place in the games. Joined by her district's male tribute Peeta Mellark (Hutcherson), Katniss travels to the Capitol to train for the Hunger Games under the guidance of former victor Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson).

The Director of Wanted presents this thrilling, crime-fighting action adventure. A student's life goes from zero to hero when he discovers the battered old car his father gave him can fly.
Black Lightning is from the guys who did the effects on Wanted and Night Watch/Day Watch. They do an ok job with story telling but it's easy when you're following a by the numbers formula. They insert enough style to keep some scenes interesting but in the end it get to feel a little long winded and there's far too much emphasis on Dmitri's job as a flower delivery boy and how he uses his car to deliver faster than anyone.
